Basamma, age 16 d/o Manappa Chalavadi, Banushi village, Muddebihal taluk, Vijayapura district, is a girl who has completed 9th standard and lives at home. They have sheep and cattle in their house. She used to graze them and bring them back from time to time. The Maligaraya of the same village, s/o Dyamanna Dandoji, used to take care of them. He used to harass Basamma whenever she went or came. 13-10-2025 Basamma's family said that she had gone to a wedding function. When they came at 3 o'clock, Basamma was not at home.
