Gayathri w/o Basavaraju, aged 40, belongs to the Scheduled Caste Holaya community, lives in chennagirikoppalu village, Srirangapatna taluk, Mandya district. She has been working as an ASHA worker at Ballenahalli Primary Health Centre for the past 15 years. On 18-2-2026, as usual, I went to the house of Varshita w/o Chandu of my village to get the Penta vaccine and asked her to get vaccinated. Varshita's husband Chandu came out house and asked her why she was barking. Hey you are low caste woman and that she giving vaccination to my son. And  He suddenly got angry. Then she said   him why he was angry he started talking badly about her and her caste. Then she left from there.  The next day, on 19-2-2026, she was in the hospital as usual, where Nurse Netravati and D Group Naveen Kumar were present. Accused  Chandu brought his wife  Varshita  his child and brother-in-law. Then, when Gayatri asked him to give the child to be weighed and vaccinated, he said that he would not give my son to you, you are a low-caste woman, then at the same time  Chandu, his brother-in-law Vinod and his uncle chandranaaga  were suddenly get angry and abusing gayathri and also they scream about her caste in front of 20 to 30 members . After that, a case was registered against them on 23-02-2026 at the Srirangapatna Rural Police Station.
