Case summary

The complainant, Pradnya Uday Mahajan (alias Pradnya Siddharth Londhe), aged 27 years. residing at Nanded Phata, Jadhav Nagar. Pune, has alleged that she and her family were subjected to repeated caste-based abuse and physical assault by the accused: Satish Damodar Punde, Kavita Satish Punde. Rekha Sunil Jagtap, and Savita Sunil Jagtap.

On January 26, 2025, at around 9:45 PM, Satish Punde went to the house of the complainant's mother, Sangeeta Siddharth Londhe, and verbally abused her using casteist slurs, threatening to burn her house and harm the family. He also verbally abused the complainant with derogatory terms. On March 16, 2025, at approximately 8:30 PM, the complainant and her sister Pallavi were physically assaulted by Satish Punde, Kavita Punde, Savita Jagtap, and Rekha Jagtap. During this incident, Satish Punde tore the complainant's dress, causing her mental distress and humiliation. The complainant alleges that the actions of the accused caused both physical and psychological harm, and that the abuse was motivated by caste discrimination. A charge sheet has been filed against the four accused for their involvement in the incidents.
