Case summary
The complainant, a construction contractor running SK Construction, states that he completed multiple construction projects assigned by Mohan Gaikwad, including works at Shivajinagar, Hinjewadi, and Shri Sai Hills in Kesanand, Pune, with the final project work completed in June 2024. Despite submitting the total bill of Rs. 58,02,838/- on 30/07/2024, Mohan Gaikwad did not pay and avoided repeated follow-ups.
On 14/11/2025, while the complainant along with subcontractors Gafur Sheikh and Sagar Hanumante met at Starbucks Cafe, World Trade Center, Kharadi, Pune to discuss work-related matters. Mohan Gaikwad confronted him. Instead of addressing the pending payment, Gaikwad verbally abused the complainant using casteist language, humiliated him publicly, and issued threats. Despite repeated requests to restrict the discussion to the bill, Gaikwad continued caste-based harassment and humiliation, prompting the complainant to call police via 112.
The complainant seeks legal action against Mohan Pandharinath Gaikwad, resident of Vadgaon Sheri, Pune, for caste-based abuse, intimidation, and public humiliation.
