On 15th February 2012, a group of labourers from Saniana village of Fatehbad, was going on a tractor to Daulatpur village with their contractor. On the way one of the thirsty labourer, named Rajesh (25) s/o Inder Singh r/o Saniana, belonging from Chamar caste got down on the road to drink water from a water pot kept under a tree. In spite of that, the accused Pappu brought out a “daantar” (sharp instrument) and chopped the left hand of Rajesh from the wrist and ran away. Hearing his cry, the other companions came to him and they took him to the Jain Hospital in Hissar.
