Social, Economic, Political and Educational Status of the Victims and Accused:
The victim, Akash Bajrang Kamble, resides with his family, including his mother Laxmi, father Bajrang Tukaram Kamble and wife Tanisha, at Samata Nagar Slum, near Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Putla, Dombivli East. The family belongs to an economically weaker background and depends on daily earnings for their livelihood.
On 02/08/2024, Ashwin Bajrang Kamble had gone for his routine work as a rickshaw driver. After returning home for lunch, he resumed his work at around 4:30 p.m. At approximately 7:30 p.m., he was attacked with a sharp weapon in front of Trimurti Enterprises and succumbed to his injuries.
During the fact-finding inquiry, it was revealed that the accused, Sunil Gopal Kamble, allegedly committed the murder of Ashwin Bajrang Kamble due to a previous dispute and longstanding enmity. The incident is reported to have occurred as a result of the accused holding a grudge over the earlier quarrel.
