Case brief
Case summary
On November 30, 2025, Punjabrao Raghoji More (58), a porter, left his residence at Hanuman Nagar, Akhada Balapur, at around 8:30 AM to go to work on his scooter (MH 38 Z 7215) and did not return home. His family searched for him through the night and the following morning On December 1, 2025, around 2:00 PM, photographs of a deceased person were received by a friend of the complainant, and the body was identified as Punjabrao More. The body was found in a pit near the road from Kandli to Rameshwar Tanda in the Koparwadi/Koperkhadi area. His hands were tied, and there were signs of strangulation, including a circular mark on the neck and blood from the nose and ears.
Police from Akhada Balapur Police Station conducted the spot inspection and sent the body to the Government Hospital, Balapur, for post-mortem. The complainant alleges that an unknown person tied and strangled his father, resulting in his death, and seeks legal action against the unknown accused.
