Social, economic, political and educational status of the victims and criminals: -
All the accused involved in the murder belong to upper castes and the deceased Sachin and the complainant who were attacked and all those who were with him belong to the Bhangi caste of the Scheduled Caste. All the accused live in the same area. On the day of the incident on 12/10/2024 at around 11.30 pm in Devichi Ali, Murbad area, 1) Sachin Parmar 2) Tulshiram Parmar 3) Ritik Singh 4) Siddhu Chavan 5) Dinesh Jadhav 6) Poonam Jadhav and complainant Nikhil were returning home after watching Garba on account of Navratri, when all the 9 accused stopped them on the way and told Nikhil that he should not stay in our area, he should immediately leave the house and go back from where he came and started fighting. When Sachin and Tulshiram tried to convince them not to fight, they started hitting Nikhil. When Sachin tried to stop them, they started hitting Sachin and Nikhil. When Sachin fell down, Sunny Shethe stabbed Sachin in the chest with the knife he had. When I went to pick up Sachin, he stabbed Nikhil in the back. The others were also stabbing him and ran away after stabbing him.
When Sachin and Nikhil were taken to the hospital, the doctor admitted Nikhil to the ICU and declared Sachin dead.
