Nitin told that he is belongs to valmiki caste,than accused abused to victim on caste line and attack with Stick & hokey.they broken both legs and Right hand of Nitin and also broken Right hand of Pawan.accused sneching gold chain of Nitin&15000rs,and also broken the victims car.police invoked sc/st act later but removed after sometime. only two accused arrested by police till now.

On 28.04.2016 at about 5 PM some youths were playing cricket in village Karanja. At that time Babula Sahoo, Anand Lenka and others rushed to the playground and assaulted one Asish Behera, son of the informant, with a bamboo stick. Asish was hit on his head and it was bleeding profusely. The informant Gitanjali learnt about the incident and rushed to the spot. Seeing her accused persons abused her verbally and threatened to kill her and her son when they will find any of them alone. Asish was taken to DHH, Kendrapara in 108 Ambulance for treatment and Gitanjali submitted a written complaint to Marsaghai Police Station which was registered as F.I.R No 147. The other group also give a counter F.I.R which was registered as F.I.R No. 148 by Marsaghai Police as the dalits also attacked the upper caste persons in retaliation of the assault.
