A poor Dalit labourer residing in the upper caste colony was murdered by a Brahmin on 30 January 2016 because they wanted to pressurize to leave the upper caste colony. The poor labourer resisted so he was shot dead on January 30 by his upper caste neighbour.

In this case the local police did not register the case under the SC/ST Act just to deny his survivors to avail of benefits under the SC/ST Act. However, after great efforts the sections of SC/ST Act were inserted in the Charge Sheet filed in the Court. In this Case to the main accused has not yet been arrested by the police and on the contrary supporters of the accused everyday terrorize and threatening the poor Dalit family members of Mr. Lekh Raj. The family of the Lekh Raj are now totally helpless as the administration has not yet paid them any monetary help as per provisions of the SC/ST Act.

     The matter is a series of the incidents and continuous harassment and torture of the deceased and his family over the land dispute which belongs to the Dalit family. With the intention to grab the 9 Bigah land, the accused people have been harassing, torturing and committing physical assault against the family for last twenty years. The fact is that, the deceased Prabhuram Bawari’s wife Mrs Chuka Devi inherited the 9 Bigah land from her father as she was the only child of her father Mr Ramuram. It is learnt that twenty years back, Ramuram adopted his brother’s son Mr Bhanwar Lal Bawari and declared him his successor. Upon this, the accused committed serious physical assault with Bhanwar Lal. After the death of Ramuram, Dakha Devi w/o Late Ramuram called her daughter Chuka Devi and her husband from her inlaw to live with her. It is stated that Mr Kana Ram Bawari, the brother of Late Ramuram, allegedly forged the sale-deed of the disputed land in the name of Mr Om Prakash Meghwal resident of Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh and got the signature of Dakha Devi on the papers. In this conspiracy, Ghanshyam Sharma and Anand Singh Rajput and others of Jusari village were also involved. For this incident, FIR no. 24/2015 dated 5/2/2015 had been lodged in the police station Makrana. Police has filed FR in the matter.

In the same connection, on 25/10/2015, the accused namely Anand Singh, Daulat Singh, Ghanshyam Sharma, Manish, Dhirendra Singh, Kana Ram and others organized an attack upon Prabhuram house around 9:30 in the night and set the house on fire after destruction of the household items. When one Amar Singh Rajput interfered to protect the victims, he had also been beaten up by the accused people. This incident caused the heavy loss to the victim family. FIR no 355/2015 was lodged u/s 323, 341, 452, 307 IPC and 3SC/ST (PoA) Act but no arrest has been made by the police. Subsequently, after four months, the case was transferred to the CID/CB for investigation which is still pending. It is noticeable that if Mr Amarjeet Singh Bedi (Investigation Officer) would have done his duties properly, the murder of Prabhuram could have been avoided.     

In the next episode of the atrocity, Ghanshyam Sharma, Dhirendra Singh and others went to the house of Prabhuram at 5:30 in the morning in the Bolero with deadly weapons and kidnapped the deceased. First they bet Prabhuram and then crushed him under the Bolero at Devla Ki Nadi. Prabhuram died on the way to Jaipur Hospital. For this incident, FIR no. 173/2016 u/s 147, 148, 149, 352, 307, 365, 302379, 120B IPC and 3(1)(f)(g) SC/ST (PoA) Act. 

Dalit boy Jagadesh S/o of Mr. Thangavel, resident of No - 87-A 8, Kootakattupudur, West Colony, Kolathupalayam PO, Unjalur Via, Kodumudi Taluk, Erode District has completed his 10th standard in SSV Higher Secondary School and have joined 11th standard in the same school.

Mean while during the annual vacation two girls namely Sumathi and Priyadharshini came to Jagadesh\'s house for advertising and issuing pamphelts for Arul Murugan Polytechnic College, Chenilai, Karur District. Jagadesh\'s mother received the pamphelts and Priyadharshini had wrote her mobile number and told that if any queries/doubts they can contact her for further details in case of joining that college.

On 28.05.2016 Jagadesh having an idea of joining the polytechnic course called that number and had spoke to Priyadharshini. This became an issue at Priyadharshini\'s home and her parents had scolded and beated her. On 04.06.2016 about 3:30 pm Ms. Gunavathy relative of Priyadharshini called Jagadesh and asked him to come near Kalikalayam Valley.

Jagadesh went to said place and Gunavathy along with 14 members verbally abused Jagadesh in filthy language with the caste names and brutally attacked him with the coocnut stalks. Jagadesh had griveous injuries at his neck, left leg and hip. He was then admitted to the Kodumudi GH and received treatment. 

The Kodumudi policemen received victim\'s statement at the hospital. Mean while Ms. Gunavathy (relative of Priyadharshini) along with Mr. Muthusamy (Priyadharshini\'s father) lodged a false complaint on Jagadesh stating that he spoke words in filthy and obscene nature and lodged a complaint after Jagadesh\'s complaint. The policemen who is a non-dalit filed a false case aginst Jagadesh by receiving complaint from Mr. Muthusamy (Priyadharshini\'s father). A FIR was lodged with the crime number: 169/2016 u/s 354(D) of IPC and then Jagadesh complaint was filed with the FIR NO: 171/2016 u/s 147,148,294,(B), 323 of IPC and sec 3 (1) (r), 3 (1) (s) of SC/ST PoA Amendment Act 2015. 

यह घटना जिला ऊना में पड़ते गांव सनोली के साथ लगते जीरो पॉइंट बार्डर पंजाब में पड़ते गांव हाजीपुर की है. इस गांव में दलित परिवार में से सवर्ण दास सपुत्र स्व: मलूका रहता है जो की चमार जाति से सम्बंधित है. उनके घर व ज़मीन हिमाचल में भी गांव सनोली में है पर गांव सनोली के जीरो पॉइंट बार्डर पर सवर्ण दास ने पंजाव के जाटों से ज़मीन खरीद कर अपना मकान बनाया व 35 साल से वही अपने बच्चों सहित रह रहा है सवर्ण दास के 4 बेटे 1 बेटी है सभी शादी शुदा है व अपने अपने परिवार सहित सवर्ण दास के साथ ही रहते है. सवर्ण दास के घर में जो पानी और बिजली का कनेकशन लगा हुआ है व हिमाचल से ही है क्योंकि कुछ वर्ष पहले जीरो पॉइंट बार्डर परहिमाचल सरकार द्वारा पानी बिजली का कनेशन दिया जाता था. सवर्ण दास की ज़मीन के नम्बर में से 10 मरले ज़मीन में हड्डा रोड़ी (मरे पशुयों की चमड़ी उतारने का स्थान) है जी की उसके घर के बिलकुल पास है जब से सवर्ण दास ने अपना घर बनाया तब से वहा पर मरे पशुयों की चमड़ी नहीं उतारी गई पर 2013 में इसी गांव के जाट परिवारों ने पंचायत के साथ मिल कर साथ ही लगते हिमाचल के गाँव संतोषगढ़ से चमार जाति से सम्बंधित महिंदर कुमार को बुलाकर उस हड्डा रोड़ी (मरे पशुयों की चमड़ी उतारने के स्थान) पर मरे पशुयों की चमड़ी उतारने का काम शुरू करवा दिया जिस कारण वहा पर रह रहे और दलित परिवारों को भी बहुत बड़ी समस्या खड़ी हो गई इसी कारण वहां कुत्तो की भीड़ जमा हो गई और हड्डा रोड़ी ( मरे पशुयों की चमड़ी उतारने के स्थान) के पास से सवर्ण दास को अपने घर तक आना जाना मुश्किल हो गया कई बार उसके परिवार के सदस्यों को कुत्तों ने काट खाया व मरे पशुयों का मांस व हड्डियां सवर्ण दास के घर में कुतो द्वारा फैला दी गई सवर्ण दास व अन्य दलित परिवार के घर वालों ने इस घटना की शिकायत पुलिस में की और इस केस को हाईकोर्ट चण्डीगढ़ तक लेकर गए. इस पर कोर्ट ने वहां पर पंचायत से हड्डा रोड़ी ( मरे पशुयों की चमड़ी उतारने के स्थान) में पशुयो की चमड़ी उतारने से मना कर दिया और उस जगह पर दीवार करने को कहा इसी रंजिश के चलते पंचायत और जाट परिवार के लोगों ने सवर्ण दास के घर को जाने वाले रास्ते में दीवार दे दी और दूसरी और से जाने बाले रास्ते में काटें दार तार लगा दी और रास्ता बंद कर दिया अब सवर्ण दास के परिवार को  तारों के विच में से ही गुजरना पड रहा है. हड्डा रोड़ी ( मरे पशुयों की चमड़ी उतारने के स्थान) की दीवार करते समय पंचायत व जाटों ने 2 कर्म रास्ता सवर्ण दास का जो की शामलात ( सरकारी भूमि) है उसे भी कवर दिया. इस वजह से अब उसे बहुत ही परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है.

     From 27-05-2016 t0 01-06-2016 there was village goddess festival going on at Vijayapura district, Muddebihal taluk, Thalikote hobli, Engalageri village. Since because of festival on 28-05-2016 Gods carols were arraigned in the village to listen this carols the same village Schedule caste community YamunappaThalaginamani s/o SomappaThalaginamani 31years had come thereand he sat near the stage. Seeing this OBC belongs Kuruba community came to Yamunappathalaginamani scolding him you madiga my son you have come so close to listen carols go stand far and listen. On this time there was quarrel between both of them soon this OBC belongs Kuruba community 7 to 8 people came to beet Yamunappa. Soon Yamunappa ran away from there to his dalith street and he hided himself even though this OBC people did not live him they also came behind chasing him. There they went into Yamunappa house they pull out from his house his elder sister Sangavva and Endrani and they naked them and have insulted them and also have beaten badly by iron rod, iron chain and have beaten badly to his right side of his father Somappa. This incident has been complained in Thalikote Police station and FIR had been put also crime No: 110/20116, IPC 1860 U/S, 143, 147, 148, 323, 324, 354, 504, 506 and 149 and SC/ST (POA) Act 1989 3(i)(x) & 3(i)(xi) has been filed on 9people.
