Bhuraram (38) S/o Kasthura ram, a laborer, resident of Bhadrajun Village hails from a Scheduled Caste (Meena) family. He survives with 3 children and a wife.
On 19.03.07 at 9.00 a.m Bhura Ram returned home after harvesting the wheat in. Eswar Singh a police constable from Bhadrajun Police Post came to his house and informed him that A.S.I Shivlal called him to the police station. When he asked the reason the constable responded that he did not know. Eswar Singh took Bhura ram to Bhadrajun Police Post in his motorcycle.
S.I Veena Lodh and A.S.I Shiv Lal were present at Bhadrajun Police Post. After making Bhura ram to sit for 2 hours, Veena Loth ordered Eshwar Singh to beat him and Eshwar singh obeyed his words. And after 2 hours they took him to Nosara Police Station where they kept him for 3 days. At Nosara Police station Eshwar Singh, Manghilal and two more constables have beaten him with belt and lathi. When he asked the reason for beating they beat him without replying him. When his father, uncle, Mangalram came with the request to release him, the police threatened them by saying that they would file a false charge against them and chased from the station. Eshwar singh and another constable tied his hand and made him to sit on the chair. Bhagchand and Shiv Lal kept their legs on his neck and hip and 4 of them beat him on his shoulders and pulled out his hair from the front head and blood started to bleed. They also beat him with belt on his hip, later he became unconscious for that whole night. When he became conscious he vomited and Bhagachand told him that he vomited due to food poison and gave him some medicine (suran). The police took him to Ashoor Government hospital, where he had given medicine. Later they took him to the DeputyPahar Singh Rajpurohit R.P.S. of Ashoor Police Station, to whom he narrated the whole incident and Deputy warned the constables and ordered him to release. Shivlal sent Bhura ram along with Kasthuram, father of Bhura ram. Bhura ram and his family members met the S.P Dr. B.L. Meena IPSand gave the complaint as well as showed his injuries. The SP responded that the injuries were not severe and asked him to continue the medicine and scolded and chased out them. On 24/03/07 Bhura ram filed a petition in the court. Village people filed 6-7 theft cases against Bhura ram. But he denies nothing he has done. FIR registered in court but not in PS. Nosra Dist. Jalor.

Case in Brief
After the death of her father the victim stayed at her aunt’s house. After two months she met Dharma Suresh who was her neighbour. When her aunt used to go to her job Suresh used to come to her house and deceived her with deceptive words. Slowly they developed physical intimacy which resulted to pregnancy. When she informed him, he promised to marry her as he shall be getting money. On 4th of January, 2007 he informed her that he is going to Hyderabad and return within one week of time. As she had no further information about him, she went to his house where she was attacked by his family members. With the intervention of the police his parents agreed to call the accused and get marry to the victim.

After death of my husband my daughter used to stay with my elder sister Premamma. Slowly she developed friendship with Suresh who cheated her in the name of love.

Sankuru Venkat Rao aged, 30 brother of victim was attacked by the family of the accused when he went along with her sister to ask the whereabouts of the accused.

- Summary:: This is the incident of village Borgaon, in MoudaPS in Nagpur district. Puja Manvatkar(9) a student of class 3 was raped by 63 old man Mahadeo Meshram. Puja Manvatkar d/o- Bandu Manvatkar is a dalit girl is resident of the village. Puja’s Grandfather Yasbant Manvatkar is the neighbor of the accused Mahdeo, and puja used to play in front of the house of her grandfather. She knew the accused very well and used to regard him as grandfather and used to tease her. One Saturday on 10.03.2007 when puja returned from school as usual she went to play with her friends Madhuri Meshram, Komol and Nikita. They were playing in front of Mahadeo’s house; Mahadeo called puja to his house tempting her to give money and raped her and did not give her money but slapped her threatened her when she asked for the money. When she came out of the house shama Peter saw her and she told everything to him. She even told her family that Mahadeo has done this with her before 5 times and was giving money. He had even threatened to kill her parents if she informed it to anyone. Her parents reported in police and FIR was filed. Police has arrested the accused and taken the statement of Shama Peter but he has left the village because of the threats of the accused.

Dalit Woman Gang Raped and Murdered

- Summary:: Krishna Pal (45) and Lal Saheb are brothers and they are living together with their family members at Nirpura village under Doghat Police Station, in Bagpat District. They belong to SC Chamar. Two months before Krishan w/o Lal Saheb was raped by Pramod S/o Khema Jat. A complaint was lodged in Doghat Police Station, but no action was taken by Police. Annoyed with the complaint lodged by the victims, on 21/01/07, the perpetrators namely Anuj S/o Chensingh assaulted Lakhan S/o Krishna Pal. He brutally gave a fierce blow on his head with a cricket bat sustaining severe injuries on his head. Lakhan was rushed to the Medical College, Meerut. He undergone medical treatment, which cost around Rs. 90,000/- . A case has been registered in P.S. Doghat against Anuj regarding this incident. On 1/2/07 Lakhan was discharged from the hospital. Meanwhile Panchayat meeting was called upon wherein a decision was taken that the amount incurred on the treatment of Lakhan shall be paid by Chensingh f/o Anuj. Hearing the order Krishna Pal withdrew his complaint. As per the decision of Panchayat, Chensingh paid an amount of Rs.80, 000/- to the victim with a grudge to take revenge in future. On the day of Holi (3/3/07), Pramod S/o Khema Jat having this grudge, falsely and mischievously beaten his own son and lodged a false complaint against the victims by saying that the victims Krishna Pal and Lal Saheb had beaten his son. The perpetrators even bribed the police officials to arrest the victims. When the victims came to know that a false complaint has been registered against them they got frightened and ran towards the field in order to avoid the arrest. On the same night, the police officials came to the house of the victim in search of them. They broke the lock and ransacked the house of Krishnapal. The police official enquired Rachana (21) D/o Krishnapal, who was alone at that time, about her family members. As soon as she replied that she does not know they abused her and left the house. On 4/3/07, Rachana informed her parents, who were in the field out of fear, about the previous day incident and advised them not to come home. Since the attempts made by the police to arrest the victims went in vain, the irate police officials on 10/03/07, around 9 P.M came in a vehicle along with 4 dominants Beelendar S/o Khema, Anuj S/o Chen Singh, Pramod S/o Khema Jat , Chen Singh S/o Randeer to the house of Krishnapal.. They jumped over the compound wall of the house and barged into the house, where Mohini and Rachana were sleeping. The perpetrators raped Mohini in front of the police and beaten her to death. They also threatened Rachana with dire consequences if she reveals the truth. Somehow the parents of the victims came to know about the death of their daughter –Mohini. They managed to reach their house and found deceased Mohini’s beaded nose and mouth. Even scratches were found on her face. They took the dead body to Bhagapat along with other villagers and narrated the incident to S.P. He promised to take necessary action against the perpetrators.
