The deceased and the victim in the incident are youths from the Dalit community. Their economic and social status is weak. And the accused are associated with government organizations and are financially capable.
The victim of the incident, Padmakar Shivaji Suryavanshi, lives with his family in Nekanal village. The deceased in the incident is Sachin Suryavanshi, his younger brother, who worked as a Poclain machine operator in the village. Shiva Raghunath Garibe and Mahesh Vishwanath Birajdar, who live in the village, also own Poclain machines. A few days before the incident, on 06/06/2024, at 8:00 AM, Mahesh Birajdar, and on the same day at 11:00 AM, Shiva Raghunath Garibe, came at different times and verbally abused the victim and the deceased Sachin's wife Rekha and a relative living in the neighborhood, suspecting Sachin of breaking the glass of their Poclain machine. And on 16/06/2024, the accused attacked the deceased Sachin Suryavanshi with a sharp weapon on the road, while he was returning from work, leaving him injured and fleeing. Vishnu Kadam and Prakash Kamble, who recognized the victim, informed the victim's brother that Sachin was found injured near Madlapur Saste. Sachin was then taken from there to the government hospital in Udgir, then to Sahyadri Hospital in Latur, and from there to Ruby Hall in Pune for treatment. He passed away during treatment at Sahyadri Hospital in Latur.

The victim of the incident Dhammakiran lives with his mother Vijayamala, father Kathalu Lahade, stepmother and stepbrother in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar slum of Yerawada, Pune city. Kathalu Lahade, the victim of the incident, is his father. The victim earns a livelihood for his family by working as a labourer in a medical shop.
A year before the incident, the victim's brother Yogesh had married a Muslim girl living in the neighbourhood. But after marriage, both lived in their houses with their respective families. A day before the incident, Yogesh went to live elsewhere with his wife and mother. Yogesh's wife's family opposed the marriage because the victim was a Dalit. And the day after their daughter went to live with the victim, Yogesh's wife's brother Ismail and his companion murdered the victim's father with an axe.

In this incident, the caste that perpetrated the atrocities is the dominant caste in the village. They are financially strong and are also in big organisations. They are also associated with high government positions. Our volunteer Jai Bhaane, who lives in the village and is also associated with our organisation and comes from the SC category, had a love marriage with a girl from the same upper caste and went to live in a different village with his wife. This was the reason for their hatred and resentment. And they used to abuse the people of the scheduled castes who used to come and go everyday on the basis of caste. But to maintain peace in the village, all the people of the SC caste kept listening to their abuses silently. But on the night of the incident, the same 8/10 people of the village came and called the victim from the cowshed and said that you people of Mang-Mahar kidnap our mothers, sisters and daughters and take them away, we will kill you all, we will not keep you even for treatment, saying this, they beat the victim and went away. Next day morning also they went to the victim's house and beat him saying that why was he going to file a police complaint at night, he was in trouble for money and then seeing Laxmi who lived in the victim's neighbourhood, they used foul language and said that we will take away the left women of Mang-Mahar also, we will take them away for money and Sunil sat there slapping him on his face saying that you people have forgotten the incident of 1998. You should be beaten up again in the temple saying this and went away

            People from, the dominant caste misttreat and attampt to murder of Dalit women 

The incident took place in the *Fulwari* area of ​​Noneya Makhaniya Bazar (Ward No. 01) under the jurisdiction of Pahadpur Police Station in the East Champaran district of Bihar. Both the victims and the accused belong to the same village. The victims belong to a Scheduled Caste (Chamar), while the accused belong to a Backward Caste (Koiri). The accused are quite affluent and politically well-connected, and they wield significant influence in the area, whereas the victims are very poor. There has been a long-standing enmity between the victims and the accused for various reasons. On May 25, 2026, the victims—Gyanti Devi, Sonamati Devi, and Manki Devi—were on their way to a neighbor's house to attend a wedding. En route, a group of eight individuals, including the accused Shambhu Prasad, surrounded the three women and began misbehaving with them. When the women resisted, the group launched a life-threatening attack on them. Gyanti Devi sustained serious injuries. The accused made a forceful attempt to strip the victims naked. A case (Case No. 44/26) has been registered at the SC/ST Police Station in Motihari regarding this incident.

                      A minor Dalit student brutally murdered by Dominnat caset criminals 

The incident took place near the Bibiganj railway crossing within the Brahmpura police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur district, Bihar.Vikram Kumar (aged approximately 13), son of Pradeep Ram and a resident of Railway Basti (Nikar), East Railway Colony—belonging to the Scheduled Caste (Chamar) community—had gone with some friends on the evening of April 28, 2026, towards the Bibiganj railway crossing to buy samosas. There, he encountered some students with a criminal bent of mind who lived in Bibiganj. Upon seeing Vikram and his friends, these students shouted, "Where is that *Chamar* going? Catch the bastard! How dare he come here?" The thugs grabbed Vikram and beat him mercilessly, leaving him in a near-fatal condition. Believing him to be dead, they fled the scene. Some students from Ravidas Tola passing by found Vikram lying on the ground; observing his critical condition, they admitted him to Minakshi Hospital. His family was informed of the incident; his mother, Asha Devi, and other family members arrived at the hospital, and he was subsequently taken to Muzaffarpur Sadar Hospital. From there, he was referred to SKMCH, Muzaffarpur, where there was gross negligence in his treatment. Later, he was admitted to City Lion Hospital, where he passed away during treatment on May 5, 2026. Had he received proper treatment at the government hospital, Vikram might not have died. Prior to his death, Case No. 135/26 had already been registered at the Brahampura Police Station regarding the incident.
