Chikkamagalor diastrict Mudigere Talluk, Gonibeedu Hobli, Kirugunda Village, there lived Schedule Caste Holiya community , belongs Lakshmana and his wife Bhavani they are working as agriculture labours for their living and this couple has two children one male and one female first daughter Chandini-24 years working as staff nurse in Sanjeevini hospital at Bangalore son is Puneeth- 22 years and he is working at Biligiri village Gramapanchayat office as daily wages labour. Next to Puneeth house there was Prashant and Chandrashekar family were living there was illegal relationship between Prashanth wife Anuhya and Chandarshekar and on this matter there was clash between both the family on 09-05-2021 and in the same day at night Prashanth wife Anuhya had been escaped from home with Chandrashekar. this matter had gone to police station. on 10-05-2021 morning around 8-30 Dharma, Ramesh, Parmesh, Thejas, Hemanth, and Sundaresh came in front of Puneeth house and started scolding him in bad words and they  had told to sub inspectore that he had kept Anuhya somwhere and he had helped Chandrashekar to escape with Anuhya. Puneeth were fed-up by these people scolding so he calls 112 police helpline so around 11 o clock in the morning Gonibeedu police sub inspector Arjun comes to Puneeth house and scolding him in bad words son of bitch and pulls him to the jeep and takes him to the police station and he ties his hand and leg and hanged him and have given torcher to hom along with sub inspector police constabie Raju, Ravindra and santhosh also have brutally toutured Puneeth and there was a thef inside the cell and they have told him to pee and they have forced Puneeth to suck the pee and they have made him to drink that urine and then PSIArjun have threaten him that not to tell this to any one if you tells I will going to kill you and in the same day night around 10-30 they have sent him from the station. there in front of the station his uncle Manjunath were waiting from evening 5 o clock Puneeth was not ableto walk he holds him and takes him with his bike back to homeand in the way Puneeth explains adout the torcher and everything happened in the station for that his uncle says don,t tell this to your parent if you say they will be upset. Puneeth parents were observing him for one week seeing he was upset they asks him what happened and then he explains everything happened and the toucher he had in the police station.

without telling to his parents he explains everything happened in the station to the dalit organaization and by the help of them he writes to DC, SP, IGP, DGP and state Human rights commission and then Chikkamagalore SP had been told Kopp DYSP to enquore and this incident were published in the media and paper and then this incident case has been filed on 22-05-2021 at Gonibeedu police station and casehas been filed on sub inspector Arjun and the Crime no;10/2021 and IPC 1860 u/s 323, 342, 504, 506, 330, 348 and sc/st(POA)amendment act 2015 u/s 3(1)(a), 3(1)(x), 3(1)(r), 3(2)(V-a), 3(2)(V) has been added in the case.
