Mr. Gopal belongs to Dalit Community, reside at Kongunagar pudur, Gudimangalam, Udumalaipettai Taluk, Coimbatore District. He is living with his parents, wife and children. He working as a agricultural worker in his village. On 19.04.2008 Mr.Gopal went to Ramu devar Maligai shop and tea shop which was located in his village, he asked pans and betel-nut for money. But he denied to give pans and betel-nuts. Since he asked reasons why you din’t not give pans and betel- nuts. Suddenly Mr.Ramu Devar got angry he said that we did not give any things to Dalits.
Following that how Mr. Ramu Devar and his wife Ms.Vellaiyammal were abused him in filthy words and derogatory referred by caste name. Then Mr.Ramu devar was attacked him by using iron rod. He was brutally attacked by Ramu and his wife Vellaiyammal. Following that he was lodge a complaint against Ramu Devar and Vellaiyammal in Gudimangalam police station. This case was pending trial in Coimbatore police station.

Mr. Marimuthu (45) belongs to dalit community, reside at Arijana colony, Kethalrai, Dharapuram Taluk, Erode District. He is living with his wife Ammavasai. He working as a former. He was cultivating his seven acre land. This land was located in Pulavadi village near to Mr.Palanisamy Gownder land. Mr. Palanisamy belongs to Caste Hindu Community. Mr.Marimuthu have rights to irrigate water to his land by Palanisamy land path way and wake path way.
On 12.04.2008 Mr.Marimuthu went to his land by Palanisamy land pathway. Mean while Mr.Palanisamy and his wife Ramathal came and abused by filthy words “ How dare dalit can come this way”? who gave rights to come my land? And “ Dalit prostitute son how you can come by land pathway?. Both were derogatory referred by caste name and abused by filthy words. Since Mr.Marimuthu lodged a complaint in Gundadam police station against Mr.Palanisamy and his wife Ms.Ramathal. He was remanded 30 day prison.

Kavita lives in the village Bagaur with her parents. On 18th April 2008, Kavita was sleeping in the room with her mother and sisters. As their house was under construction and there were no doors for the rooms, anyone could enter easily. At around 2 am - 3 am accused namely Pappu alias Vinod, Dharmendra, Bharat Kangaria, Harphool Meena, Shyamal Meena, and others came into a Jeep No- RJ- 18-TA-0087 on which ‘on government duty’ was written. They entered the room; clutched Kavita’s mouth with a handkerchief on which some sedative drug was poured which made Kavita unconscious. They picked Kavita out of the house and took her to near Satyan’s house which is close to her home. Vinod, Dharmendra raped her. Early in the morning when Kavita’s mother woke up she did not find Kavita there. She and her other daughters Sunita and Sarita started searching for Kavita. They found Kavita sleeping outside Satyan’s home on a cot between Pappu and Dharmendra in half bared situation. On seeing Kavita’s mother, both the accused ran away from there. As Kavita was unconscious that moment her mother and sisters made her wear clothes and took home. When her mother again came to talk to the accused, all of them ran away in their Jeep no. RJ 18 TA 0087 from the place of incident.
When in the evening her father came home, they narrated the whole incident to him. Thus they went to police station for lodging the FIR on 23rd April 2008 and registered the case against the accused. But instead of helping the victim, police helped the culprits and registered an FIR no. 145/08 dt. 29th April 2008 u/s 143, 452, 323, 354, 379 IPC against the victim from the accused side alleging that Kavita and her family unlawfully entered Roshan Singh’s house and beat his wife Pratibha and tore her clothes. When she shouted, neighbors came there running. On seeing people coming, they ran away after snatching her gold chain.
Many strikes and rallies were conducted which lasted for 35-40 days by which they pressurized the police and authorities to submit the charge sheet against the accused and render justice to them.

- Summary:: On 18.04.2008 a Dalit woman Sarpanch Suman w/o Sh. Ramesh Kumar, belonging to Doom (SC) community was driven out from her house after beaten up cruelly by her husband and Dominant people. Her husband Ramesh Kumar and some dominant people cut her hair & stripped her naked and paraded in the village on 18-04-2008. Suman also complained that her husband Ramesh Kumar is a sober and used to beat her daily. She also complained that her husband always doubts on her character. The village Karamgarh comes under Police station Jind of Haryana state .It is about 12 kms. From Distt Headquarter Jind. Ramesh Kumar aged 38 Years S/o SH. Sher Singh did his second marriage with Suman aged 25 Years r/o Delhi .They have two children named Kamal aged 8 years & Vivek aged 6 years .Suman was not well qualified woman but Ramesh Kumar wants his wife should be an active Dalit woman. Ramesh Kumar, a doom (SC) caste has a Political background in the village so he wants his wife also should enter into politics. So first of all he registered a NGO named “Nayee Kiran mahila Sanghathan Karamgarh”. Ramesh Kumar made Suman president of this Organization .In 2005 Ramesh Kumar, nominated his wife Suman to context in the Sarpanch election. Due to his family reputation and hard work of Ramesh Kumar Suman Devi won the Sarpanch election. But Suman Devi was a puppet in the hand of her husband. First time she did illegal relation with his cousin brother Sunil Kumar and was caught by her husband in unnatural situation. Ramesh Kumar tried to advise Suman about the future of their children; however the incident became the reason for strained relationship between Ramesh and Suman. Suman gave a divorce application to SP on 2-04-2008. In this application, she also complained that Ramesh Kumar used to beat her very cruelly after having drunk wine. Ramesh Kumar was arrested in this connection but bailed out. After this incident approx 50 villagers gave a signed application to SP in favour of Ramesh Kumar. On night on 18/04/2008, Suman gave a drug mixed tea to Ramesh and her children. When they all went in deep sleep, she ran way with her lover carrying an amount of Rs. 9000/-. In the morning she made a call to Ramesh that she has eloped with her over.

Maddela Padmavathi D/o Swaminadan, SC mala by caste was going to a shop and she was assaulted by Edigapalli Anjaneyulu, BC Balija by caste. She escaped and went home and has not revealed to any one as she was afraid of. On the next day in the evening when she was going alone again Anjaneyulu assaulted her. When she scolded the accused used abusive language, caught hold of her hair and tore her dress. When she started shouting the nearby people rescued her. Unable to bare the humiliation she informed her parents, took them to the police station and lodged a complaint in Kamalapuram P.S
